New high-speed trains have been part of the cross-border traffic through the Eurotunnel since 2015. The 17 trains from the British capital connect London with cities such as Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium) and Amsterdam (Netherlands) without any transfer.

When crossing the English Channel (with a length of 50 kilometers and a depth of up to 75 meters), the trains withstand average annual temperatures of 25 °C and up to 100 percent humidity. Outside the Eurotunnel the trains reach top speeds of up to 300 km/h on the country-specific rail networks.

The TSL-ESCHA Presskey construction type 5 push buttons (PKZ021) built into the doors are specially designed for use in high-speed trains. Mounted on the door area, they withstand the application conditions while ensuring that the vehicle doors open reliably.
