As we spend much of our lives at work, it is particularly important that good workplace lighting conditions facilitate and improve work processes. LED workstation lights from TSL-ESCHA meet this standard with flying colors. The PL151 Series is already the second generation of this award-winning lighting series. The innovative PL90 Series is new to the product portfolio.
Designed using aluminum and high-quality plastic parts, the LED lighting combines a functional industrial approach with an appealing office design. The PL151 features extreme luminosity and requires little space thanks to its extremely flat construction type. The surface light can be mounted on walls or at table workstations with an articulated arm.
TSL’s LED workstation lighting minimizes shadows and glare
The PL151 and PL90 allow the user to continuously and individually adjust the brightness and color temperature from warm white (approx. 3,000 K) to cold white (approx. 6,500 K). A big advantage: The light does not bedazzle because a uniformly illuminated light guide (prismatic) prevents interfering luminance and reflections. Reflections from high-gloss parts are also reduced to a minimum.
The formation of shadows in the work area can be greatly minimized with TSL’s LED workstation lights. The PL151 achieves homogeneous light distribution by redirecting light beams through more than 100,000 micro-lenses. This also prevents the undesirable multiple shadows that sometimes result from LED lighting solutions.
Depending on the application area and the desired lighting characteristics, different optical designs are available for the PL151 workstation lighting system:
- Prismatic with a beam angle of about 60°. Suitable for application areas with the highest brightness requirements and greater distance from the light source, such as workstations for assembly and quality control or monitoring of manufacturing processes of larger components.
- Micro structure with a beam angle of about 106°. Ideal for activities with increased reflection on the object to be inspected, such as the inspection of coatings or surfaces.
- Diffuser optics have proven themselves in projects with maximum light emission requirements without recognizable structures, such as in the watch industry.
The PL151 is available in three lengths: 825 mm (PL151X8), 564 mm (PL151X6) and 304 mm (PL151X3).
The unique selling points of the PL90 include its smaller size and upper articulated arm. This makes it even easier to adjust the light. Anti-glare strips also prevent dazzling of the eyes in case of close-up work. This is advantageous when the technician’s head is particularly close to the object during complex assembly work, such as in the watch industry. The PL90 is available as a set: workstation light with power supply unit and mounting device.
