Over one million push buttons sold within the last 15 years - this milestone has been reached by TSL-ESCHA. Recently, the one millionth push button left the production facilities in Halver (North Rhine-Westphalia). The push buttons from the Presskey (PK and PK52), Combikey (CK) and Minipress (MP) series are used worldwide. The medium-sized company develops, manufactures and distributes individual customer solutions for door opening push buttons, signal devices and LED lights for buses and trains as well as robust LED lighting for industry.
"We are very happy about this impressive number. It underlines the outstanding and reliable work of the past years", says Lutz Höfer, Managing Director of TSL-ESCHA GmbH, and adds: "But we are not resting on our laurels. Our team is highly motivated and is aiming for the next goals".
TSL-ESCHA GmbH is a constantly growing company. Last year, record sales were achieved. The number of employees has tripled in the last ten years, and more than 100 now work at the facility in Halver. Sales representatives and sales partners are active in over 30 countries worldwide.
Trade fair participations in Poland and Japan
The company has been exhibiting at TRAKO in Poland (24th to 27th September 2019). The trade fair in Gdansk is one of the largest and most prestigious rail industry meeting in Central and Eastern Europe. TSL-ESCHA presented its large portfolio at a joint stand with RAWAG, a component manufacturer for rail transport, and Turck Poland. This includes push buttons and signal lights for doors and interiors in buses and trains as well as lavatories. From 27th to 29th November, the market leader will be exhibiting its products at Japan's largest rail exhibition, Mass Trans Innovation in Tokyo.
Millions of safe switching cycles under tough operating conditions, fast implementation of customer requirements and good service make TSL-ESCHA the leading manufacturer within its industry. With its products, the company wants to make bus and train travel safer, more comfortable and more reliable for all passengers. The development and design focuses increasingly on persons with reduced mobility. They should be able to recognize and operate push buttons, switches and lights with ease. In addition to public transportation, TSL-ESCHA also uses its know-how to develop and manufacture LED products that offer tailor-made lighting solutions for industrial applications.
TSL stands for Touch Signal Light! The company is a global market leader for door push buttons, signal lighting as well as audible warning devices for the public transportation area. All products are in compliance with TSI PRM. For these product families, LED technology was already used from the mid-eighties. The successful concept of “Signaling with LEDs” allowed to develop first LED lights for rail and emergency vehicles.
