The Verkehrsbetriebe Leipzig municipal transport company has been using a large number of door opening push buttons, signal lights, indicator lights and buzzers from TSL-ESCHA in their new trams since 2016. Of the 61 light rail vehicles ordered, over 20 are already on the road in Saxony’s biggest city. A total of over 1,500 TSL products contribute to passenger safety as well as passenger and driver comfort.

The new trams are helping Leipzig’s municipal transport company cope with the increased number of passengers. The vehicles have been delivered with PK52 door opening push buttons, WM87 acoustic warning sounders as well as LS door light strips and PKM indicator lights since 2016. The almost 38-meter LRV equipped with TSL products reach speeds of up to 70 km/h on their way through Leipzig.
